FAQ: Threat Assessment

  1. What does Blue Arrow Consultants do with the final Threat Assessment report?  The final report is provided only to the client for advisement purposes.  Reports will not be forwarded on to third parties.  All information regarding security strengths and weaknesses will be kept in strict confidence.  Upon the receipt of final reports by clients, Blue Arrow Consultants will destroy all notes, photographs, and reports related to the threat assessment.  The client will possess the only report.
     

  2. Can Blue Arrow Consultants help us review and improve our emergency safety plans?  Yes.
     

  3. If Blue Arrow Consultants locate weaknesses in our security, are we compelled to spend money on those improvements?  No.  All recommendations for improvements are strictly recommendations.  The client may choose to follow/not follow the recommendations.
     

  4. Is there a pricing guideline available?  No.  As there are so many variables involved in this service, we are unable to provide a general price quote on the website.  Please contact us for pricing details.

FAQ: How to Respond to an Active Violence Incident

  1. Our church/company would like to host a class.  Is there a limit on class size?  No.
     

  2. Is it necessary to have the condensed threat assessment done prior to this class?  Yes.  Blue Arrow Consultants prides itself on offering the best available advice to clients.  Participants in this class will receive quality, customized safety information as it relates to their workstations, shift schedule, surrounding environment, building construction and floorplan.
     

  3. Is there a pricing guideline available?  No.  As there are so many variables involved in this service, we are unable to provide a general price quote on the website.  Please contact us for pricing details.
     

  4.  How long is this class?  Generally, depending on class participation, this lecture type class lasts about two hours.  Additional time is required for the threat assessment prior to the class being conducted.  

FAQ: Armed Response to Active Violence

  1.  I currently do not have a CPL; can I still take the class?  Unfortunately, no.  Insurance requirements dictate that class participants possess a valid CPL.  Please consider signing up for the tactical home defense course, as it has similarly vital information that could prove valuable, especially for those who open carry.
     

  2. Can I use my own eye protection or face mask during the class?  Yes, if it is impact resistant and has the “ANSI” stamp on it.  Sideview protection is also required.
     

  3. I have a CPL, but I have physical issues which limit my mobility.  Can I still sign up for a class?  Yes.  We will work with you so that you gain the necessary knowledge to improve your skills.
     

  4. Are there age requirements/limits for the classes?  No.
     

  5. Do you offer classes just for women?  Yes.  The class schedule will denote those classes which are limited to female participants.
     

  6. I have my own Airsoft pistol; can I use it for the class?  Unfortunately, no.  Insurance requirements dictate that class participants use the standardized equipment provided by Blue Arrow Consultants.
     

  7. Our church/corporate security team is interested in tactical training.  Do you travel to other locations to train?  Yes.  Participants must still possess a CPL and the location must be suitable for training.  Please call for additional details and pricing.

General FAQs

  1. What methods of payment do you accept?  We accept cash, check, credit card, and Venmo. Applicable fees may apply for digital payment. Payment may be remitted during the check-in process prior to the start of class.
     

  2. Once I am registered, what do you do with my information?  We will not sell or provide your information to third parties.  Your basic information will be kept inhouse for record keeping purposes only.
     

  3. Do I need to pre-register for the class that I want?  Yes.  Contact us to reserve your spot, as class sizes are limited.  
     

  4. What is your cancellation policy? If you've pre-paid, you will receive a full refund if more than 24-hours notice is provided.  If less than 24-hours notice is given, you will receive a 50% refund. Students who had intended to pay for class upon arrival, and fail to show for two classes in a row, forfeit the opportunity to attend future classes.  Full refunds and the opportunity to reschedule a class will be provided for class cancellations due to weather or instructor illness.
